Deshaun Watson Destroys Louisville Football Fans With One Tweet

-

The ACC stock a big step forward last season with the Heisman Trophy winner and the National Championship winner coming from different teams in the conference.

Today, those two teams will face off head-to-head.

Deshaun Watson might be winning games in the NFL now, but Lamar Jackson returns to Louisville as the reigning Heisman champ. As the marquee matchup of the weekend, fans started to break out some some signs that attempted to disparage the accomplishments of Deshaun Watson last season.

He wasn’t having it.

Watson took to Twitter to respond. With one image, he abruptly ended the conversation and left no room for argument. Jackson might have won the Heisman Trophy, but he doesn’t have any pictures of himself like this:

Jackson is expected to make the jump from the FBS to the NFL next season as well. Early in the season, he’s showing why he won the Heisman to begin with. His explosive play has a lot of people wondering if Louisville can pull off the upset against Clemson now that Watson is no longer on campus.

But the questions that plague Jackson NFL future remain. While the Deshaun Watson was able to get it done with his legs, there was no doubt that he had an NFL caliber arm.

Many feel that Jackson is a one-trick pony, whose skill set won’t translate to the highest level. That’s a question for another day.

For now, it’s Deshaun Watson: 1, Louisville trolling fans: 0.
