9 Florida Football Players Reportedly Facing Felony Theft Charges

Nine members of the Florida football program are reportedly set to face very serious criminal charges.
According to a report from Trey Wallace of The Read Optional, nine members of the team could reportedly be charged with felonies for their roles in a debit card fraud scheme.
Gators star wide receiver Antonio Callaway is one of the players involved, along with defensive linemen Jordan Smith.
Those two players have already hired legal counsel, while other players have yet to do the same.
According to the report, the players could be arrested by the end of the week.

The report reads:

Antonio Callaway, Jordan Smith, and one other player are likely to be arrested on charges of felony grand theft, with the possibility of further misdemeanour charges being tagged on, according to a lawyer representing one of the players. It’s anticipated that the other six players will also be arrested, but only three players have hired legal counsel thus far.

This is not a good look for anyone involved.
We will continue to update the story with more information as it becomes available.
