A lot of people are unhappy that NFL players choose to exercise their First Amendment rights, and you can include country singer Charlie Daniels in that group.
Daniels, of “Devil Went Down To Georgia” fame, went to Twitter to share his thoughts on the recent protest and posed a thought-provoking question that no one else had on their mind.
Wonder how Vince Lombardi would have reacted to his players kneeling during the anthem

Then, he followed it up with an even bigger doozy.
Daniels decided he would hold his own protest by boycotting the NFL. How would the country singer boycott the league? By not watching Thursday Night Football.
There was one problem: he decided to boycott Thursday Night Football on Wednesday.
Whoops.
I would ordinarily be watching Thursday Night Football, but for some reason I’m not

Just like that, “#BoycottThursdayNightFootballOnWednesday“ was born.
Way to go, Charlie.
