On Thursday, Seinfeld and Veep star Julia Louis-Dreyfus announced to the world that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Immediately following her announcement, Dreyfus received an outpouring of support from all over social media and the entertainment world. She also received support from a Big 10 basketball program.
After learning the news, the Northwestern basketball program took to Twitter to send a message to Dreyfus.
During the 2017 NCAA Tournament, Dreyfus could be spotted cheering on the Wildcats from the crowd. That is because Dreyfus’s son Charlie Hall plays for the Wildcats.
That led to this incredible tweet from Northwestern.
You've been there for us. Now we're here for you.

What a classy gesture from the Wildcats.
Like Northwestern and many others around the world who have enjoyed watching Dreyfus’ comic genius, we would like to wish her all of the best in the battle that is ahead.
