For as common as special edition uniforms have become in the world of college football, the Oregon Ducks still pace the pack.
Perhaps crediting the Ducks with starting the craze would be narrow-minded, but they certainly elevated it to an art form. This Saturday, they’re back at it again against conference rival Cal.
The Golden Bears will be looking into a sea of green jerseys and matte black helmets.
The Ducks released a sneak peek of what they’ll look like when they take the field against Cal on Saturday night, and it’s one of their best looks all season.

Looking mean in the bright green, the matte black helmet compliments the the brighter color of the jersey perfectly. The yellow accent is a nice touch as well, and the scheme remains consistent all the way the way to the cleats.
The Ducks lost their first game of the season by only two points last week to the Arizona Wildcats. They’ll be looking to bounce back against the Golden Bears, and improve their conference record to 1-1.
The PAC 12 is wide open after USC’s lost to Washington State last night, and every conference game takes on increased importance as a result.
