Penn State Football: QB's Mom Packs Lunches For O-Line

Trace McSorley’s mother may be the unsung hero of the Penn State football program.
As it turns out, the senior quarterback’s mother looks out for the same young men who are protecting her son week in and week out.
On Saturday morning, the Nittany Lions took to social media to share a photo of a home packed snack bags for the offensive linemen. The bags — which include Honey Buns, Moon Pies, Cracker Jacks and a candy bar — are packed for the linemen by no one other than McSorley’s mom.
That’s love.
Of course, we’re pretty sure the coaching staff would rather the offensive linemen wait until after the game to reward themselves with the snacks.

This season, McSorley has thrown for 1,037 yards, 10 touchdowns and three interceptions while only being sacked five times. Perhaps the snacks are paying off.
Penn State, currently sitting at 4-0 on the season, play host to the Indiana Hoosiers today at Beaver Stadium.
Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on the Big Ten Network.
