Virginia Tech Football: Adonis Alexander Reinstated For Clemson Game

What are the odds that Adonis Alexander would have effectively learned his lesson just ahead of the Virginia Tech Hokies biggest game of the season? With the defending national champions rolling into Blacksburg, the Hokies are leaving nothing to chance against Clemson.
On Friday, the Hokies announced cornerback Adonis Alexander would be eligible to play on Saturday after serving a suspension the last two weeks.

Alexander was suspended for an undisclosed violation of team rules. The suspension cost him starts against East Carolina and Old Dominion. As expected, Virginia Tech handled both teams with ease, and has started the season 4-0 under coach Justin Fuente.
Clemson will be no slouch, and will be their first legitimate opponent since opening the season against West Virginia. The Hokies edged the Mountaineers by only a touchdown and will have to put on the performance of a lifetime to knock off the Clemson Tigers.
With Alexander in the lineup, their pass defense will be significantly better. They’ll need all the help they can get, as the Tigers appear just as explosive on offense as they did under Deshaun Watson last season.
Kickoff is at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC from Lane Stadium in Blacksburg.
