Derek Carr exited Sunday’s Week 4 clash in the AFC West early.
In the second half against the Denver Broncos, Carr suffered an apparent back injury and was slow to get up.
After receiving treatment from the Oakland Raiders medical staff, Carr was helped off the field and then further evaluated on the sideline. Eventually, the star signal-caller was taken back to the locker room.
Carr suffered the injury as he was sacked and awkwardly twisted to the turf.
Here is a look at the play which the injury occurred:

It appears that the injury is to Carr’s lower back, but there is no official word.
The Raiders have yet to say whether their star quarterback will be able to return to action in the fourth quarter.
Oakland currently trails Denver, 16-7, with 14 minutes remaining in the game.
