Is simpler, better? Yes. But sometimes it’s also very entertaining.
The UFC football team is off to a hot start in 2017. The Knights are a perfect 3-0 so far, and looking for their first 4-0 start in program history.
As the media notes clearly state, “A UCF win would be better than a loss.”
It doesn’t get much more fundamental than that.
Kudos to @UCF_Football for the most accurate note in the history of game notes 👍 pic.twitter.com/I837iAzQ6k

The Knights haven’t just been winning games this season, they’ve been blowing teams out. Now in the second year of the Scott Frost era, the Knights appear to be rising more quickly than anyone could have anticipated. They’ve face relatively weak competition through their first three games, with their game against Georgia Tech being cancelled due to Hurricane Irma.
But so far, the UCF Knights are a far cry from the 0-12 season they put up only two years ago.
UCF will face another opponent that they should be able to beat. The Cincinnati Bearcats aren’t what they were in the late-2000’s under Brian Kelly. The team is 2-3 to start the year, and has struggled to beat even the more anemic teams they’ve faced this season.
A win would be better than a loss, and if the Knights execute the way they’ve been able to so far this season, Scott Frost will have his first four game winning streak.
