Michigan, Michigan State ADs Urge Fans To Behave On Saturday

The Battle for the Paul Bunyan Trophy takes place this weekend when Big Ten and in-state rivals Michigan and Michigan State go head-to-head in Ann Arbor.
Ahead of the big game, Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel and Michigan State’s Mark Hollis issued a joint statement urging fans to behave themselves while attending the game.
The statements were released on Thursday.
Part of the statements read:

Our two universities can show that civility and respect can be a hallmark of not only college sports but what we need to strive for in our society.
Our institutions have high expectations of student-athletes, coaches and staff and how they serve our communities. We share a steadfast commitment to represent our schools with class and dignity as participants, students and members of our respective communities.

The two teams are set to face off Saturday night in primetime.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
