Pro Football Hall Of Famer Y.A. Tittle Dies At Age 90

Pro Football Hall of Famer Y.A. Tittle has passed away at the age of 90.

News of Tittle’s death was passed along by the sports information department at his alma mater, LSU.

Tittle, who played for the Baltimore Colts, San Francisco 49ers and New York Giants during his legendary career, was reportedly surrounded by his family and friends at the time of his death.

LSU shared a tribute video after confirming the news.

As a member of the Tigers program, Tittle was a two-time First-Team All-SEC honoree.

During his legendary NFL career, Tittle earned Pro Bowl honors in seven seasons, was a four-time First-Team All-Pro, 1963, NFL MVP, three-time passing touchdowns leader and a member of the 49ers Hall of Fame and Giants Ring of Honor. His No. 14 jersey was retired by the Giants.
