This video will inevitably incite a “Antonio Bryant vs. Julio Jones” debate. For those on the side of Antonio Brown, he just helped cement their argument.
On Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers knocked off the previously undefeated Kansas City Chiefs in large part due to the heroic efforts by their star wide receiver.
After hauling in a circus catch, Antonio Brown racks up his YAC and crosses the goal line to seal the victory for the Steelers.
Then, he caps it all off with this celebration.
It might like the flashiness of an Odell Beckham Jr. one handed grab in the back of the end zone, but Brown is the most complete receiver in the NFL. He’s Ben Rothlesberger’s favorite target, and was the main reason the Steelers were okay with Mike Wallace leaving to the Dolphins in free agency a few years ago.
Incredibly, that was only Brown’s second receiving touchdown of the season. After picking up 155 yards receiving against the Chiefs on Sunday, his total reached an eye-popping 700 for the season.
Add in the excitement he makes on punt returns and it’s easy to understand why he is one of the most marketable players in the NFL right now.
Catches like these will keeping him relevant for a long time.
