Who is ready for some basketball? The 2017-18 NBA regular season officially tips off on Tuesday night and the league is ready to help you step your Twitter game up.
Following in the footsteps of the NFL — which has had team-specific emoji hashtags for the past two seasons — the NBA has released its complete list of “hashmojis” for all 30 teams.
Some, of course, are better than others.
The Portland Trailblazers (#RipCity), Milwaukee Bucks (#FearTheDeer), Toronto Raptors (#WeTheNorth), Utah Jazz (#TakeNote), Memphis Grizzlies (#GrindCity) and Los Angeles Lakers (#LakeShow) are among the best, while the New Orleans Pelicans (#DoItBig), Brooklyn Nets (#WeGoHard), Philadelphia 76ers (#HereTheyCome) and Los Angeles Lakers (#ItTakesEverything) could use some work.
The Dallas Mavericks have the most efficient hashtag when it comes to your character count, simply going with #MFFL.
