Eagles' Alston Jeffery Celebrates TD By 'Getting Hit By Pitch, Rushing Mound'

Carson Wentz looks like the real deal. He has a strong arm, can put the ball where he wants to put, and make all the out-route throws you can dream of. But this touchdown was all thanks to Alshon Jeffery.
The ball was on target, but Jeffery got through three San Francisco 49ers defenders en route to this 53-yard touchdown strike.
Incredibly, that was only the start of the highlight.
After getting into the end zone, Jeffery channeled his inner-baseball fan with a World Series homage. He hands the ball off to tight end Zack Ertz, who pitches the ball while Jeffrey is standing like a batter waiting to swing the bat.
The ball plunks him in the ribs, and he takes off after the pitcher. If this happened in an actual baseball game, the internet would explode with words like “brawl,” and “melee.”
But since this is football, it’s just a mild, fun time.

The Eagles furthered their stranglehold on the NFC East with their win over the 49ers this Sunday.
At 7-1, they’re looking like a lock to win the division. Let’s get Alshon Jeffery into the end zone again, I’m interested in seeing him reenact a bunt single.
