Wendy Williams gave fans a scare on Tuesday morning, collapsing on live television.
Williams was wearing a Statue of Liberty costume while speaking into the camera, when she suddenly stopped, stammered, stumbled and then collapsed to the stage.
The show immediately cut to a commercial break.
The good news for everyone concerned about Wendy Williams is that she appears to be doing fine.
When the show came back on-air, Williams addressed the situation.
“That was not a stunt. I overheated in my costume I did pass out,” Williams told the audience. “But you know what, I’m a champ and I’m back.”
She then joked about the incident as she was signing off for the day, saying “Is that the end of the show? Was I passed out that long?!”
