There were rumblings that the Clemson Tigers needed to use the magic of technology to beat the NC State Wolfpack on Saturday. Following the 38-31 Tigers victory, NC State coach Dave Doeren expressed concern over the fact that there was a laptop on the Clemson Tigers sideline during the game.
Doeren was apparently handed a photo of the laptop on their sideline, and requested an investigation immediately following the game.
”I was told it’s illegal to have technology on the sideline,” Doeren said as he requested the issue be investigated by the ACC.
After looking into it, the ACC has decided that there was nothing nefarious about the presence of the computer on the sideline. Coach Dabo Swinney said he had no idea that there was a computer on the sideline.
”It wasn’t anybody from football, I can tell you that,” Swinney said.
Apparently, the laptop belonged to a student who works in the social media department for the university.
Dabo says he has no idea what Doeren is talking about with Clemson having a laptop. Was a Clemson student in the social media department.

Oddly, Doeren has receiving some ridicule for his request for an investigation. Many are perceiving his actions to be that of a sore loser, who is looking for an excuse to put an asterisk next to a loss.
If there were a violation, it should be investigated regardless of the outcome of the game.
Now that the matter is closed, we’ll see how Doeren decides to comment on the issue, if at all.
If he’s still complaining after getting his answer, then everyone should feel free to call him a sore loser.
