The Florida State football team will be getting a boost on the offensive side of the ball this weekend.
According to a report from Wayne E. McGahee III of the Tallahassee Democrat, Jacques Patrick is set to return to the lineup against Clemson after quickly recovering from what was believed to be a season-ending knee injury.
Patrick was leading the Seminoles in rushing at the time of his injury with 434 yards and a touchdown.
In Patrick’s absense, frshman Cam Akers stepped up to lead the way out of the backfield. Now with Patrick returning, the Seminoles will feature an impressive duo in the backfield.
It’s good news for Florida State as they prepare for one of their biggest tests in what has been a disastrous 2017 campaign.
Kickoff between Florida State and Clemson is set for 3:30 p.m. ET.
