There were some questions whether Arkansas football coach Bret Bielema would be returning to the Razorbacks following a disappointing 4-5 on the season.
For now, however, it appears his job is safe.
According to a report from KARK’s Tyler Thomason, the Arkansas Board of Trustees came together for an “executive session” this week to discuss the futures of Bielema and athletic director Jeff Long.
While both men appear to be on the hot seat, the board decided to make no decision on their immediate futures.

If Bielema is able to rally the Razorbacks during the final stretch of the season, he may just do enough to save his job.
However, with another slip up and Arkansas currently holding just a 1-4 record in SEC play, the urgency is there for Bielema to continue picking up wins. But it won’t be easy.
Next up for Arkansas is a Saturday afternoon clash with LSU, before returning on Nov. 18 against No. 18 Mississippi State.
