Josh Allen Injury: Wyoming QB's Mom Says 'Sprained AC Joint'

Wyoming star quarterback Josh Allen suffered an injury in Saturday’s 28-14 victory over Air Force.
Following the game, Cowboys head coach Craig Bohl would not provide an update to the media about Allen’s injury and the star signal-caller was unavailable for interviews.
However, thanks to social media, we have an update.
According to Wyoming beat writer Brandon Foster of The Casper Star-Tribune, Allen’s mother gave some news in a post on Facebook. Allen’s mother, Lavonne, said that Allen suffered a sprained AC joint in his right shoulder and will undergo further testing today.

Allen is regarded as many as a potential first-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Entering the college football season, some even believed the 6-foot-5 standout could be a potential No. 1 overall pick. That talk has cooled, but he will still be a highly-touted prospect once draft season rolls around.
If Allen is unable to go this weekend against Fresno State, junior backup quarterback Nick Smith, who replaced Allen in the second half against Air Force, will get the start.
