LaVar Ball Blasts Lakers Coaches: They Don't Know How To Coach Lonzo

LaVar Ball has never been shy about sharing his opinions.
The outspoken Big Baller Brand patriarch previously spoke out about his son’s high school basketball coach at Chino Hills, which led to the coach being fired.
Now, he’s taking aim at the Los Angeles Lakers.
During a recent interview, Ball said he believes the Lakers don’t know how to coach his son.
“He’s been away from me too long. I see tendencies in his game—they’re trying to baby him a little bit…. They’re soft. They don’t know how to coach my son. I know how to coach him,” LaVar said, via Bleacher Report.
“They’re letting it go too easy, saying they’re a young team.Forget about that! Put the [onus] on them. Say, ‘You guys need to win. You’ve got enough talent. Win some games.’”
The Lakers are currently 7-10 on the season.
Lonzo, meanwhile, is averaging 8.9 points, 7.1 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game.
Could he do better? Sure, his shot percentage is a measly 31 percent and he will need to continue improving on that if he wants to live up to the expectations his father set. You can’t just blame the coaches.
