The Vanderbilt basketball program continues to score big on the recruiting trail.
On Wednesday afternoon, five-star power forward Simi Shittu announced that he would be the second five-star recruit joining the Commodores’ 2018 recruiting class.
Shittu joins five-star point guard Darius Garland as Vanderbilt commits.
The 6-foot-9 forward announced his commitment in a video released by The Players’ Tribune.

Shittu, who is a standout at Vermont Academy, is currently ranked as the No. 1 power forward and No. 7 overall recruit in the country. Along with Shittu and Garland, the Commodores have also landed a commitment from four-star small forward Aaron Nesmith as they continue to load up for the future.
