Pitt Football Team Mocks Miami's 'Turnover Chain' After Upset Win

The Pitt football program, for all intents and purposes, were playing their bowl game against the University of Miami this week and the Panthers showed up in a major way.
Defending their home turf to the tune of a 24-14 victory over the Hurricanes, Pitt pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the season.
The game ended with a strip of Miami quarterback Malik Rosier, punctuating a frustrating afternoon on offense for the Hurricanes. The man who forced the fumble, Avonte Maddox, not-so-subtly took a jab at the revered Miami “turnover change” while speaking to reporters after the game.

And he wasn’t the only one.

There isn’t much the Hurricanes fans can say to defender their squad after such a miserable performance. A game they should have won slipped through their fingers; Hurricanes can’t expect to come from behind and beat a Power 5 school every week. A
nd while Maddox’s chain might be tacky and lame, he earned the right to wear it this week.
The Hurricanes play the Clemson Tigers in eight days for the ACC championship. If they’re to have any hopes of making the College Football Playoffs, they’ll have to win that game convincingly.
