The UCLA football program could be closing in on its next head coach.
According to reports on Saturday morning, the Bruins are closing in on a deal with former Oregon and NFL head coach Chip Kelly that could be finalized by the end of the weekend.
Pete Thamel of Yahoo! Sports was first to report the news on Twitter.

Throughout the week, it grew increasingly likely that Kelly was headed back to the Pac-12, despite heavy interest from the Florida Gators. Earlier this week it was reported that Kelly was decided between the Gators and Bruins.
If Kelly heads to UCLA, Florida is expected to turn their attention to UCF’s Scott Frost.
However, there were also reports that Frost and the Nebraska Cornhuskers could have an imminent deal. It’s going to be interesting to see how it all plays out.
But regardless of where all of the coaches end up, it looks like the first domino will be falling sooner rather than later.
