Ryan Shazier appeared to be in good spirits following the Pittsburgh Steelers’ last-minute win over the rival Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night.
Following the game, Shazier FaceTimed teammates to join in on the locker room celebration.
It was the first we’ve seen of Shazier since his terrifying injury that left him without movement in his lower body. With reports that Shazier is showing signs of improvement, it was great to see him with his teammates in spirit and with a big smile on his face.
“A very emotional group in there. AFC North champs. We had Ryan Shazier on Facetime. He had an opportunity to share that moment with the team. That’s a special thing,” said head coach Mike Tomlin at his post-game press conference.
It was just one of the ways to share the moment with Shazier, who was honored by his teammates with cleats and special “50” shirts during the game.
