Kansas Basketball: Silvio De Sousa Added To Jayhawks Roster

The Kansas basketball program made a big addition to the roster this weekend, with five-star freshman Silvio De Sousa has been cleared and is now eligible to play.
Kansas made the announcement with a release on Friday night.
“Silvio has completed the required coursework that will enable him to graduate from IMG Academy and report to KU,” Kansas head coach Bill Self said in a statement.
“He is eligible to practice immediately and will join our team December 26th. We are now working through the NCAA’s amateurism process and hope to have him certified as soon as possible for game competition.”
The move comes just in time for the Jayhawks Big 12 Conference opener against Texas on Friday, Dec. 29.
Tip-off is set for 8:00 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
