Over the weekend, Los Angeles Lakers head coach Luke Walton found himself directly in the line of fire of Big Baller Brand patriarch LaVar Ball.
Ball criticized Walton by saying that Lakers players no longer respected him and that he had lost the team.
Walton appeared to initially take the high road by not issuing a direct response to Ball’s comments, but he finally fired back with a tongue in cheek comment following the team’s win over the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday night which ended a nine-game losing streak.
The Lakers coach was asked why he pulled Lonzo Ball earlier than normal in the first and third quarters of the game before issuing an incredible response.

Oh boy.
Of course, Walton said that he was joking around, but you know LaVar Ball will hear these comments and it’s almost certain he will fire back. After all, LaVar is the kind of guy to go on CNN for a live interview sparking a feud with the President of the United States.
