On Monday afternoon the latest AP Top 25 college basketball poll was released with plenty of movement at the top of the poll, but the No. 1 team remained the same.
The Villanova Wildcats once again top the list, receiving 63 first-place votes.
The Virginia Cavaliers moved up one spot to No. 2, while the Purdue Boilermakers jumped from No. 5 to No. 3. Both teams received one first-place vote. The Oklahoma Sooners and Duke Blue Devils round out the top five, while West Virginia fell to No. 6 after sitting in the No. 2 spot a week ago.
New arrivals in the AP Top 25 were the Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan Wolverines.
