On Sunday night, the Philadelphia Eagles claimed their third NFC Championship in franchise history with a dominant performance over the visiting Minnesota Vikings at Lincoln Financial Field.
While the ultimate goal of the first Super Bowl victory in franchise history still remains, Eagles fans were ready to party after watching their team hoist theĀ George Halas Trophy.
Fans immediately flooded the streets and a wild celebration began.
Prior to the game, there were workers across the city who attempted to limit any danger fans could find themselves in once the rowdy mob made their way into the streets. One precautionary measure was coating poles with Crisco, but that wouldn’t stop the Philadelphia faithful at all.

Of course, there was even more reckless, but expected behavior throughout the night. For example, this group of fans decided to start a huge fire in the middle of the road because that’s the kind of thing you do when you win a big game.

Then there was this guy, who whether he knew it or not, was riding around on the roof of a speeding car.

What could possibly go wrong?
It wasn’t all out of control behavior, though. Some Eagles fans were just ready to spread the love.

Think they’ll name their kid “Big Dick Nick”?

And finally, what would a Philadelphia celebration be without someone making the trip up theĀ steps outside of the entrance of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, better known as the “Rocky Steps.” This guy was up for the challenge, but he had a bit of help.

We can’t wait to see what happens if the Eagles come away with a victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 52 on Feb. 4 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
