College Baseball Rankings 2018: Complete Week 1 Coaches Poll

The college baseball Coaches Poll has been released for Week 1.

Sitting in the No. 1 spot is the defending national champion Florida Gators, while the Oregon State Beavers check in at No. 2. Texas Tech, TCU and Florida State round out the top five.

“I guess it’s no surprise that people are going to think we should be ranked pretty high,” said Gators’ coach Kevin O’Sullivan, via USA TODAY.

“We’ve got really good starting pitching, and we’ve got a guy who had 19 saves back in our bullpen. We’ve got some other guys who are going to be high draft picks. But at the same time I would hope that this group is mature enough to realize that this team is different from last year. I think the pieces that allowed us to be successful are in place, but there are always changes.”
