2018 NBA All-Star Weekend kicks into full swing on Friday night with the NBA Rising Stars Game and All-Star Celebrity Game.
The Mtn Dew Kickstart Rising Stars Game takes place at 9:00 p.m. ET with the Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers being the most represented teams.
Joel Embiid, Dario Saric and Ben Simmons represent the 76ers on the court, while the Lakers’ selections were Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma. Ball, however, is currently recovering from injury and will be unable to participate in Friday night’s game.
The format of the game will be World vs. USA.
The World team will be wearing uniforms inspired by the Los Angeles Clippers’ 1970’s era Buffalo Braves uniforms, while Team USA will be wearing uniforms that take influence from the Minneapolis Lakers uniforms.
