The 2018 NBA All-Star Weekend comes to an end on Sunday night with the 2018 NBA All-Star Game at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles live on TNT.
This year, there is a new format for the game with the East vs. West matchup going out the window and NBA stars LeBron James and Stephen Curry, the two leading vote-getters, serving as team captains.
James and Curry drafted their respective teams of all-stars to determine the rosters for Sunday’s game.
Team LeBron was struck hard by injuries with Demarcus Cousins, Kevin Love, Kristaps Porzingis and John Wall all set to miss the game. LeBron will still have former teammate Kyrie Irving on his team, along with Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis.
Curry will be joined in his starting lineup with Giannis Antetokounmpo, DeMar Derozan, Joel Embiid and James Harden.
It will be interesting to see if the new format brings added excitement to the game.
