The Madden 19 player ratings continue to be released by EA Sports, and this time they are coming from the rookies. There are a number of talented first-year players who are expected to make an immediate impact in the league, but the one player who stands above the rest of their peers is a Notre Dame Fighting Irish alum.
The player? Indianapolis Colts offensive guard Quenton Nelson.
From the Colts website:
Overall rating: 83
Standout rating: Nelson has a strength rating of 97.
Ridiculous rating: Don’t depend on Nelson in man-to-man coverage on defense; he’s been assigned a nine in that category.

Madden NFL 19 is set to be released on Aug. 10, 2018. The “Hall of Fame” edition of the game features Proo Football Hall of Fame inductee Terrell Owens. The game will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, while also being available on Microsoft Windows for the first time since 2007. There is currently no word on who will be the cover athlete for the standard edition of the game.
