Uniform Of The Week: Oregon Football

The Oregon football program is known for its flashy uniforms. As one of the leading innovators in the college football world when it comes to fresh new looks and unique designs, the Ducks are one of the programs that led the charge that has resulted in countless uniform combinations and alternate looks in college football.
At times, the Ducks ditch their traditional green and yellow threads, opting to go with silver, black, or sometimes even a color scheme inspired by the state flag.
But while the unique Oregon looks always generate the most attention, there is a special place in our hearts for the more traditional look.
For this week’s Uniform of the Week, we go with one of Oregon’s simplest looks on the field, but it may be one of their best.

Oregon is fresh off of a 7-6 campaign under head coach Willie Taggart, who left the program after just one season to replace Jimbo Fisher at Florida State. The Ducks 2017 season ended with a loss to Boise State in the Las Vegas Bowl. Oregon will look to rebound in 2018 under the direction of new head coach Mario Cristobal. The Ducks kickoff the season Saturday, Sept. 1 against Bowling Green.
