Franklin Police are responding to an unconfirmed report of a man with a gun next to Franklin High School in Ohio.
UPDATE (3:40 p.m.): Franklin Police say that the lockdown has been lifted. The high school has been searched and no one with a weapon was found. Officers have cleared the scene.
According to a Facebook post, the Franklin Police Department is currently investigating reports of a man with a gun near Franklin High School.

We have an UNCONFIRMED report of a man with a gun in the area of Franklin High School. We are following protocol and checking the area. Nothing has been found at this time. We will update as soon as possible.
Furthermore, Gerke Elementary is also in lockdown out of precaution, only.
Police, who are still searching the high school, have not located anyone with a weapon.
