According to FAA Officials, a small plane crashed in Palo Alto on Tuesday morning around 11:10 a.m. local time. The plane crashed near the Palo Alto Airport.
Early reports indicate that one person is dead and two others have been rescued.
Two victims were transported to Stanford Trauma Center while one person was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
Initially, the Federal Aviation Administration could not provide any further information on how many people were on board the plane or what the conditions were during the crash.
Initial reports are a small aircraft down approximately 40' offshore of the Palo Alto Airport.
