According to Cincinnati Police, an active shooter incident is being investigated at the Fifth Third Bank Center at 511 Walnut Street. Two people have reportedly been killed and another four people are critically injured.
Initial reports indicate that there an exchange of gunfire with law enforcement in the lobby and the loading dock of the bank. Reports of the shooting came in around 9 a.m. local time.
At this time, the suspect is currently in custody and law enforcement are currently sweeping the building. There is a heavy police presence on the scene. Furthermore, police say that Fountain Square and the surrounding area is currently closed.
FOX 19 is reporting that there are “multiple” victims and that several medics have been called to the scene.
