The FCS wrapped up an exciting Week 2 of the 2018 college football season which means it’s time for the updated rankings. On Monday, Sept. 10, the American Football Coaches Association unveiled the updated AFCA FCS Coaches’ Poll ahead of Week 3
The top 9 teams in the nation remain eve, while Villanova jumped up one spot to crack the top ten. Maine had the biggest gain in the poll, jumping from No. 25 to No. 20.
This season, for the first time ever, the AFCA is in charge of the administration of the FCS. It had previously been run by the Southern Conference. The AFCA also administrates the Division II and Division III Top 25 polls.
