A fight broke out between LaMelo Ball and a member of Lithuanian basketball club Dzukija on Monday, Oct. 1 when the Dzukija player instigated an altercation. The Dzukija player hit the youngest Ball brother in the face before Ball retaliated by slapping his opponent back in the face.
Then, a full-on fight broke out with the benches clearing.
Ball and his opponent were both ejected from the game, but both teams agreed to continue.
“Dzukija player slapped Lamelo in the face, then Lamelo slapped him back hard and a fight broke loose. Things have calmed down now, coaches and refs are discussing what to do,” Ramunas Klimavicius wrote on Twitter. “Both Lamelo Ball and Dzukija nr 22 Susinskas are ejected. Both benches got a technical for leaving the bench. Coaches decided to continue the game.”

Ball previously withdrew from Chino Hills High School to turn pro where he played with LiAngelo overseas in Lithuania for BC Vytautas Prienai. He then went on to play for the Los Angeles Ballers of his father’s JBA League before embarking on the JBA international tour with some of the standout players in the league for JBA USA.
