NBA All-Star Weekend Live Stream 2019: How To Watch Online

NBA All-Star Weekend is almost here with the league’s best players heading to Charlotte, North Carolina. The game was supposed to be played there in 2017, but was moved to New Orleans due to the state’s controversial bathroom law. This will be the second time that Charlotte will host the All-Star game, previously hosting the event in 1991.

The weekend kicks off with the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game presented by Ruffles at 7 p.m. on Friday February 15. ESPN will cover the game and is the only event during All-Star Weekend not covered by TNT. Quavo returns to the Celebrity All-Star Game after scoring 19 points in last year’s game. He was also named the MVP of last year’s game and will look to join Kevin Hart and Terrell Owens to win the Celebrity All-Star Game MVP twice.

After the Celebrity All-Star Game ends, the Rising Stars Challenge begins at 9 p.m. on TNT. The game consists of the league’s top first and second year players, divided into Team World and Team USA. Team World has won three of the last four games and will be coached by Dirk Nowitzki in the game. Bogdan Bogdanovic won the MVP of the Rising Stars Challenge in 2018 and will look to become the only player in the history of the event to win the MVP award twice.

State Farm All-Star Saturday Night starts at 8 p.m. on TNT and is always the highlight of All-Star Weekend. The night begins with the Taco Bell Skills Challenge. Last year’s winner Spencer Dinwiddie is not competing in the event, but it should still be exciting with players like Luka Doncic and Trae Young competing. After the Skills Challenge, the Three-Point Contest is next and has a loaded field. Past winners Stephen Curry, Devin Booker and Nowitzki are in field along with Damian Lillard, Kemba Walker, Khris Middleton and Danny Green.

The dunk contest concludes Saturday night. The four man field of Miles Bridges, John Collins, Hamidou Diallo and Dennis Smith Jr. is not filled with big names, but they are all big-time athletes. Smith Jr. and Diallo are two of the most athletic guards in the NBA, while Bridges almost touched the top of the backboard at Michigan State during vertical testing.

The All-Star Game starts at 8 p.m. on Sunday night. The teams were drafted by team captains Lebron James and Giannis Antentokoumpo. Team Lebron beat Team Curry last year with James winning his third All-Star Game MVP.
