WATCH: Bernie Sanders Look-A-Like Is Enjoying March Madness

The fans are a big reason that college sports is so entertaining. Their fanatical obsession with their teams creates great moments. These moments are normally captured when no one is looking at them, especially in conference tournaments.
While the man was wearing a Siena College sweatshirt, his dancing occurred during the Monmouth-Canisius Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference semifinal. Siena played in the semifinal game before them, losing 73-57 to Iona. The man’s appearance is very interesting as he looks a little like presidential candidate Bernie Sanders and/or Larry David.

The 77-year old senator from Vermont has no connection to the small college in upstate New York, but the two men have a striking resemblance to one another. The Siena man was proudly dancing by himself up in the stands when he was spotted by the ESPNU camera crew. Play-by-play announcer Jason Benetti said during the broadcast that the man looked like Seinfeld co-creator Larry David, who also has a likeness to Sanders.
Like Sanders, David has no connection to Siena College. The MAAC final between Monmouth and Iona will decide which team earns the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The game will be entertaining as the two schools are conference rivals, but the Sanders-David look-a-like might not be present at the game. His team lost in the semifinals to the conference’s regular-season champion Iona and would have no reason to stay and watch the game.
However, his dancing was seen after Siena had already lost. The Siena gentleman may just be a fan of MAAC basketball and wants to see more of it.
