Round 1 of the 2019 NFL Draft is in the books. On Thursday, April 25, the NFL made the trip to Nashville, Tennessee to welcome the newest crop of rookies into the league. The streets of Nashville were filled throughout the night, with Oklahoma Sooners star and reigning Heisman Trophy winner Kyler Murray earning the honor of being the first player off of the board.
Murray had been linked to the Arizona Cardinals for much of the draft process, so the pick did not come as a surprise.
Nick Bosa continued his family tradition of first-round selections by going No. 2 to the San Francisco 49ers, while Quinnen Williams, Clelin Ferrell, and Devin White rounded out a defensive-heavy top five.
