Precious Achiuwa, one of the top college basketball prospects in the 2019 class, has made his college decision. The five-star recruit out of Montverde Academy in Florida announced on Friday, May 17 that he has decided to commit to the Memphis basketball program. He decided to join Memphis over UNC, Kansas, UConn, and others.
Earlier this week, No. 1 prospect James Wiseman also committed to the Tigers.
The decision was announced on social media.

Achiuwa’s motor, along with his size and strength, will give Memphis another elite defender and an interior scoring threat to play next to No. 1 overall prospect Wiseman. Both of the recruits played together in the McDonald’s All-American game in March, when Achiuwa scored 22 points and added nine rebounds.
Memphis previously landed four-star guards Boogie Ellis and Lester Quinones.
As a result, Penny Hardaway’s squad currently has the top recruiting class in the country.
