WR T.V. Williams to Transfer From Kentucky

As of Saturday, Kentucky wide receiver T.V. Williams has declared he wants to transfer from the University of Kentucky. Williams requested a release from his scholarship, and not give a specific reason as to why that he no longer wished to be a part of the Wildcats’ program.

Williams has not given an information as to what his future plans are after he leaves the school. The receiver tweeted only this message, addressing fans and confirming his decision:

“I want to thank you for all the love and support you have given me, and please come and support Coach Stoops and my great teammates tomorrow. Pray and wish me luck as I open a new door. I will always love Kentucky and will forever be part of the greatest fan base in the world!”

Williams was a member of the Wildcats’ 2014 recruiting class, and did not have any truly outstanding accomplishments in his two years with the team. He caught a total of four passes for 64 yards in his first four games as a true freshman. The sophomore came up with just one catch in his 2015 season with UK for -5 yards in roughly a season and a half.

This makes his career total a mere five receptions for a rather unremarkable total of 59 yards.
