Jaguars eyeing Josh Norman

Former Carolina Panthers cornerback made a big impact last season and it all started against the Jacksonville Jaguars when he intercepted two passes and returned one for a touchdown in their season opener. It looks like the team he made that impact against could coming calling pretty soon.

The Panthers rescinded their franchise tag on Norman late Wednesday night and that has led to many teams already contacting him. Jaguars General Manager Dave Caldwell said that they are one of the teams with an interest in him and they could be bringing him in for a visit soon.

In four seasons with the Panthers, Norman has recorded seven interceptions, 36 pass deflections, and 141 tackles. He led the NFL with two interception returns for touchdowns last season and he would certainly help the Jaguars in their race to compete in the AFC South.
