Unlike the Aggies football team, the Texas A&M basketball program received some positive news on Thursday.
According to reports from CBS Sports, Lipscomb scoring guard J.C. Hampton has agreed to complete a transfer to Texas A&M to play for Billy Kennedy, who led the Aggies to a Sweet 16 appearance in the 2016 NCAA Tournament.

Hampton, 6-foot, 175 pounds, averaged 15.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game last season.
At least Aggies fans can take this bit of good news from their athletic department today.
