The Duke Blue Devils have the top recruiting class for the 2016-17 season that includes Harry Giles Jr. and Jayson Tatum. They should be big pieces on the court for the team this year and should be able to replace players like Marshall Plumlee and Brandon Ingram.
On Tuesday, the Blue Devils posted a picture revealing their five incoming freshmen’s locker nameplates and jersey numbers. Some of the players may only wear the number for one year before jetting off to the NBA.

With a class of players like this and names like Grayson Allen and Amile Jefferson returning for the upcoming season, nobody should be surprised with Duke being a favorite to win the national championship for the second time in three years and the third time since 2010.
Duke is also likely going to be the top team in the country for the preseason top 25, but the season is still a good six months away. I guess everyone will just have to wait and see what they can do then.
