The Ohio State Buckeyes are looking to compete in the Big Ten this year and possibly get back to the College Football Playoff. The Buckeyes seem in good position to do so, with a handful of talented players returning.
However, they will be losing offensive lineman Grant Schmidt and 2016 cornerback recruit Kareem Felder.
Bleacher Report’s Ben Axelrod reported that Schmidt would be seeking a transfer and Felder would not be enrolling with the school this year.
Ohio State's Kareem Felder will not enroll at OSU this summer/fall and offensive lineman Grant Schmidt is transferring from the program.

Columbus Dispatch writer Bill Rabinowitz provided more context on Felder, who plans on attending prep school before going to Ohio State, so he will like likely still end up being a member of the team at some point in the future.
The plan is for CB Kareem Felder to attend prep school before enrolling at #OhioState, I'm told.

Grant Schmidt, an offensive tackle, was likely in competition to take over for Taylor Decker, who was drafted in the first round by the Detroit Lions.
