Wayne Selden Jr. to sign with Memphis Grizzlies

Wayne Selden Jr. was a pretty good player for the Kansas Jayhawks the last three years and he is trying to take the next step in his career. It looks like he will be doing just that as it was reported that he will sign with the Memphis Grizzlies soon.

Basketball Insiders’ Alex Kennedy reported that Selden is expected to sign with the Grizzlies and should be ready for training camp and the regular season. He will miss the summer league due to surgery that took place at the end of the Jayhawks’ season.

Selden actually seemed to tease landing with the Grizzlies earlier this week when he took a photo from inside the team’s facility and posted it to his Instagram page.

During his career at Kansas, Wayne Selden Jr. averaged 11 points and three rebounds. He also shot 43 percent from the field and 36 percent from behind the three-point line.
