Max Kellerman to replace Skip Bayless on ESPN First Take

Earlier this summer, ESPN announced morning debate show host Skip Bayless would be leaving the network and his spot on ESPN’s First Take following the NBA Finals.

On Monday, the Worldwide Leader officially announced Bayless’ replacement would be none other than Max Kellerman.

Kellerman, who is currently a co-host of Sports Nation alongside Marcellus Wiley and Michelle Beadle, will begin the new era of First Take across the debate desk from Stephen A. Smith on July 25.

Kellerman is also the original host of Around The Horn, another ESPN staple, so he is more than experienced enough to lead the way on one of the network’s most highly-rated shows.
