Ohio State football lands five-star WRs Trevon Grimes, Tyjon Lindsey

The Ohio State Buckeyes have the best recruiting class in the country for the 2017 college football season and that likely won’t change going forward. It got a little stronger on Monday when five-star wide receivers Trevon Grimes and Tyjon Lindsey committed to Urban Meyer’s program.

In this video, the two receivers, whom four-star quarterback commit Tate Martell has been recruiting ever since he flipped to Ohio State, played an intense game of dodgeball, taking out players representing schools like Florida State, Georgia and Alabama.

The two then came together to announce their commitment to the Buckeyes.

Grimes and Lindsey both attended Ohio State’s “Friday Night Lights” recruitment event last month, which was one of the reasons their commitment to the Buckeyes seemed imminent. Grimes was set to commit on Aug. 24, but changed his date to today.

This gives Ohio State six five-star recruits in the 2017 class, four more than any other school in the country.
